I will introduce the Academic Information Building (#202) and the Business Administration Building (#114) which are the buildings that freshmen will visit the most. First, the Academic Information Building consists of four floors. The cultural complex, or UNIPLEX, on the first floor has various rest areas including the Jigwanseoga library and the CALIU café. Students who want to use the reading and study room on the second floor need to reserve a place in advance using the mobile app “Clicker” to study and prepare for their exams, while the library on the third floor provides book rental services. As a little tip, you need a password to borrow books, and the password is set to your date of birth! There are also group study rooms on part of the second floor and on the fourth floor. They are great places for doing group assignments or studying with your friends.
The Business Administration Building is used for classes related to business administration and the liberal arts. As many freshmen take those classes, you need to know where it is. In addition, the administrative office of the School of New UNISTars and the Leadership Center are situated on the third floor! / Lee Yeon-ji, (Class of 2022, Biomedical Engineering Department)

I would like to introduce the Engineering Buildings (#102, 104, 106, 108, 110, and 112) and the Student Union Building (#203). The Engineering Buildings are used for the main classes of the science and engineering schools. In each Engineering Building there are tables and chairs placed here and there on the first and second floors so that students can study individually or in groups during the exam period. In addition, the Pandorothy café on the second floor of Building #104 has a newly redecorated rest space where students can read or relax on a beanbag. A book café is situated in front of the Dutch & Bean Café on the second floor of Building #108, while Haedong Hall, situated next to the café, is often crowded with students who enjoy having a late-night meal there during the exam period.
The Student Union Building has various facilities related to student life. First, it contains restaurants like the Student Cafeteria, Kimbap Cheonguk, and Dudeurim, as well as Hyeopjin, which is a bookstore and stationary store. Lastly, the club rooms are situated in the Student Union Building, where many students pursue their personal development and form friendships through club activities, which are a major part of campus life! / Kim Min-seo (Class of 2022, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

First, you should check out SUPPORTERS on the website of the UNIST undergraduate student council (https://unistusc.org), as it enables you to receive free services at restaurants around the university and obtain discounts at private music or Pilates classes.
In addition, you can obtain plenty of useful information from the UNIST Campus Life White Paper written by the UNIST Undergraduate Student Council, Club Association, Student Community Council, and Freshmen Association. It contains information on how to write an email for an officially approved absence or an absence due to illness, the locations of amenities, tips on dormitory life, information on the nearby commercial district, and so on.
During the examination period, each department or school holds a snack event providing hamburgers, lunch boxes, sandwiches, coffee, tea, etc. to encourage the students. Furthermore, the UNIST Student Council runs the Youth Bus. You can take the bus to get to certain tourist attractions including Haeundae in Busan and E-World in Daegu, and come back to school at fixed hours at a reasonable price. It’s a good opportunity for students to visit other places outside Ulsan. You can check out the information on the Student Council’s Instagram.
Lastly, the Student Community Council runs the fruit truck, which visits the square at the dormitory every Wednesday! It is very convenient as it comes to the dormitory on Wednesdays. / Sohn Su-yeon (Class of 2022, Industrial Engineering Department, and Jeong Ye-seung (Class of 2022, Biomedical Engineering Department)
